Playground App FAQs

  • How do I toggle between multiple Playground accounts?

    ​If your accounts share the same email

    Open the Playground mobile app.

    1. Make sure you have followed the steps above to link all accounts. 
    2. Sign in using the email and password you've created. 
    3. Click the three lines in the top left corner of the screen.
    4. Tap "Switch Account" to open the Switch Account menu.
    5. Select the user you'd like to switch to, and the app will switch to the correct one.

    If your accounts have different emails and passwords:

    Make sure both accounts have been created via the emails sent to you.

    1. Log in to the first account.
    2. Log out by tapping the three lines in the top left corner to open the menu in the top left corner > Settings > Sign out. 
    3. Log in to the second email account.

    Switch Accounts on Web


    Click your name in the top right corner of the screen to open the drop-down menu.

    1. Click Switch Accounts.
    2. The Switch Account screen will open to show your additional linked accounts.
    3. Select the account you'd like to switch to, and the new dashboard will open.
  • Setting up ACH

    Link a Bank Account (ACH) via Automatic Verification


    This is the simplest & easiest way to add a bank account. This is available for most nationwide banking institutions in the United States and utilizes a secure 3rd party partner called Stripe to instantly connect and verify the information provided.


    Mobile

    1. From the Home screen tap the ☰ Menu icon in the top left corner. 
    2. Tap Billing to reach the Billing Portal screen. 
    3. Tap Payment methods.
    4. To add a new method, tap the blue + sign or the Add payment method button. 
    5. Tap Bank Account (ACH).
    6. To instantly connect and verify your bank account, click "Agree". 
    7. Select your bank and login to your online bank account. 
    8. If your bank isn't listed, link your bank manually by following the steps above
  • Uploading a file on web

    1. Click the Paperwork tab on the left-hand side of the Dashboard.
    2. All paperwork types appear in one list. To view only File Requests, click Add filters and select File Requests under Type.
    3. Whether you’re submitting the file for the first time or updating it with a new version, click Upload.
    4. Click in the grey rectangle that reads Click here to choose a file. Your computer finder will open to choose a file.
    5. Select the document that you want to upload and then click the blue Save button.
  • Adding a guardian

    Log in to the Playground mobile app to add guardians to your student's profile.

    1. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top left corner of your screen to open the sidebar. Then tap Guardians.
    2. Tap the blue Add Guardians button at the bottom of the screen or tap the plus(+) sign at the top-right of your screen. If you don't see the plus (+) sign, your school may have restricted your ability to add guardians. In this situation, reach out to your school directly as they will be able to add the guardian(s) for you.
    3. Enter the name and email of the guardian. [Optional] Click Add Photo to add a profile photo from your camera roll.
    4.  Tap Select a Relationship and pick the appropriate relationship for the new guardian as it relates to your student. Then, select the appropriate Role for this guardian. 
    5. Enter a phone number for the guardian.
    6. "Select a Relationship" and role type based on the access allowed for the guardian.
    7. Once complete, tap the blue Done button at the top-right of your screen.
    8. A green banner will appear, indicating that yo"Done" button at the top rightu have successfully added the guardian.
