For the active 2 year old, we offer trail walks, visits with
the animals and nature crafts designed to introduce young
children and Mom/Dad/Caregiver to the wonders of nature.

We offer Knee-Hi to Nature fall, winter and spring .
 Nature’s
Playroom
Ages 3, 4, and 5
Children must be 3 by December 31, 2008 and fully potty
trained.
Pre-schoolers are invited to explore the wonders of nature
on the trails, fields and pond in Cherry Lawn Park. A
wonderful complement to a child’s nursery school experience,
visits with the animals, nature songs, stories and crafts
are all part of the fun. After a morning of exploring with
classmates children have the option to stay for Lunch Bunch.
For the afternoon session, many children are coming from a
morning program and need a few moments to relax and have
lunch with their classmates before starting their exciting
and fun filled afternoon. Lunch time is therefore included
in the afternoon session.
September 8 ~ December 11
Mornings: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday
9:30 am -11:45 am (optional lunch bunch offered for
morning session)
Afternoons: Tuesday and Thursday
12:15 pm ~ 2:30 pm (all children bring a bag lunch to this
program)
Lunch Bunch: 11:45 am ~
1:00 pm.
Cost: $444 ~ $481 (depending on day)
Lunch Bunch Cost: $220 ~ $260 (depending on day)
The Darien Nature
Center is PEANUT FREE.
Membership is mandatory for
all preschool programs.
We offer Nature's Program fall, winter and spring .
